The Tiger Cat Flowage Lake Association (TCFLA) is excited to announce the installation of new Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) awareness signs at the entry points to the channel connecting Burns Lake and Placid Lake.
🌿 Protecting Our Lakes
The new signs serve as an important reminder that Placid Lake is currently infested with Eurasian Watermilfoil (EWM) and encourage all boaters, anglers, paddlers, and lake users to:
✔️ Clean your propeller,
✔️ Remove any aquatic plants before leaving or entering another waterbody
Every small action helps prevent the spread of invasive species and protects the long-term health of our beautiful lakes.
